I made this blog intending just to lose weight. However, now I realize that there is so much more to being healthy than just being "skinny". A truly healthy person is fit physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This will now be my journey getting to a healthier, happier me.
Sometimes I will focus on the emotional aspect as I go through trials there. Other times I will look at the emotional/mental part of my life. And, all the while, I hope to improve my eating habits and look for fun, new ways to lose weight and get in shape!

i'm proud of you. sometimes i think i don't care if i'm healthy or not i just want to be skinny. but when i am in a better state of mind i think that we should be able to be happy no matter what size we are. i see some bigger girls (like me) that i think are so beautiful and confident, and wonder why i can't look like that and be happy. i really don't think life should be spent counting every little calorie, or hours at a gym, but i think making conscious food choices, moderation, an active lifestyle, and balance in it all is right on track. good luck with everything. keep us updated with ideas for all of us to improve in those areas as well.
