Week One Review

Did I meet my goals?
1. Get to bed at a decent time. Yes, I did this. All except last night (Friday night) when I went to bed at 11:30. I have to admit it was nice to get to bed a a good time, I'll try to keep this one up.
2. Exercise 4 times this week. Nope, I didn't. And, I feel really guilty about it but I am not going to let it get me down. I'm just going to set this goal again for next week and press forward. I can do it.
3. Try a new recipe. Yup! And it was good. Healthy Baked Beans, yum.

How do I feel about things?
Well, it's honestly not been the easiest week. Especially with not feeling well, but I do feel like I have intentionally tried to make some positive changes and I don't feel discouraged about things. I want this change in my life and I look forward with going forward! I feel really blessed to have received the support I have, because without it I KNOW I wouldn't want to do this. Thank you everyone, really. Thank you.

Energy Level?
Still about the same. But, getting to bed a decent time did help.

Weight loss?
Hum, well I know this isn't all about "losing pounds" but yes, I lost almost 2 pounds. Go me!

Yay 2 pounds! that's awesome! And you weren't even feeling very good this week. It can only get better! Hope you are feeling better soon. Well, my goal of exercising 3 times this week - didn't happen. I could make all kinds of excuses as to why, but I won't and I'll just make that goal for next week.

I think that in spite of opposition, you had a good week and positive results. I'm especially proud of your good attitude! I must confess that I excercised only once and walked only once. I commit to being better next week. Onward and upward! Mom

Way to go, Jen! Don't look back, just ahead! I tried a new recipe this week, but my family wasn't too fond of it, so I won't post it. I did pretty well on my exercising goal, but. . .I bought Halloween candy and that was a mistake--the bags are already open. I'm going to have to hide them from Trevor (and myself)!

Excellent progress, Jenners! Most worthy goals in life require perserverance. So even if you have weeks that aren't as good as the others, keep at it. These kind of goals are not achieved by the swift but by those that stick with it. Love you tons (no pun intended) - Daddy
